Job Context

Jamco Agro Ltd. is inviting applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Professional Assistant Chef (Pastry & Bakery )for its newly started Pastry & Bakery Brand.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist to Chef all day-to-day operations of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen.
• Prepare a wide variety of items such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. using traditional and modern recipes.
• Introduce new and exciting dessert items as per chef instruction
• Help Chef to decorate all desserts using different types of icings, toppings etc. and ensure the food presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
• Ensure excellent quality, proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
• Coordinates with co-workers engaged in food preparation.
• Ensure necessary compliance in respect of food hygiene and Health and Safety standard and must meeting local standards like BSTI etc.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned from Management time to time

Experience Requirements

• At least 2 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Baking
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread)
• Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

• Age 25 to 35 years
• Only males are allowed to apply
• Minimum 2 years practical working experience in Baking Industry.
• Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles of food preparation and nutrition.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment
