Job Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze financial performance report through communication with relevant staff in head office and factories, and with downstream partner organizations.
  • Prepare all kinds of financial statements & reports that are related with day-to-day business operations.
  • Prepare the periodical financial statements & reports.
  • Prepare all financial statements & reports to meet the requirement of internal audit and external audit.
  • Perform month end and year financial closing activities.
  • Ensure applicable accounting standards are appropriately applied and take initiative to implement new accounting standards from time to time.
  • Prepare periodical financial budget and implement proper budgetary control.
  • Responsible to look after the banking, import related documents and procedures, VAT, AIT, Customs etc.
  • To maintain stock and reconciliation and dealing with Bank transaction & reconciliation as monthly basis.
  • Preparation of Cost Benefit Analysis for new initiatives, projects, capital investments.
  • Due diligence of new investment proposals as well as existing operations.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, data Accounts statement (Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly & yearly) and requesting disbursement.
  • Support to procurement on a timely basis
  • Responsible for internal & External Audit.
  • Vetting of Contracts to ensure the interests of the Organization & compliance to statutory requirements.
  • Provide support to report and align all financials transactions with Finance & Accounts Department.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
  • Preferred Professional Certification: The candidate should be CACC. CA (intermediate) is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 7 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Auditing, bank reconciliation, Finance/ Accounts, Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Product Costing and budgeting, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Tiles/Ceramic, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 40 years
  • Operating System, Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
  • Accounting Software: Accounting Software, ERP
  • A good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • A good understanding of financial management obligations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to complete a job properly as a team or individually.
