Job Responsibilities
Assist in furnishing legal opinion/advice on various matters of the institution, relating to its operation
Assist in vetting and furnishing opinions on various Contracts, Agreements, and Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the institution and third parties
Review research agreements, IT consultancy agreements, proposals, agreements relating to executive search, etc. and dealing with various documents, legal and non-legal related to the institution
Review relevant laws, rules, regulations, and policies and provide observations and recommendations to the institution
Drafting various letters, notices, case summaries, inquiry reports, and meeting minutes
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant and up-to-date laws, rules, and regulations, and actively advising on effective risk management for the institution to make informed strategic choices
Handle employee-related disputes and sexual harassment cases
Render legal opinion on issues having impacts on legal, regulatory, and business issues and compliance of the institution including but not limited to matters relating to the Contract Act, Digital Securities Act, Penal Code, and also Labor Act
Reviewing, drafting, developing, and updating internal policies, guidelines, and employee code of conduct of the institution

Educational Requirements
LLB (Hons.) from any recognized University, Bar-at-Law, or Master’s degree is preferred
Experience Requirements
At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements
Excellent academic credentials
Candidate must have a minimum relevant experience of 3 years as in-house counsel or law chambers
A combined equivalent experience of serving as an in-house counsel and working at a law chamber will be an added advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent drafting skills
Meticulous with work and attentive to details
Candidate shall have the right mindset for adapting to the organizational culture and professional conduct
Strong interpersonal skills and adept at building relationships with different stakeholders
Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse groups
Strong organizational and planning skills
Must be self-motivated, hardworking, and flexible regarding work hour
