We are looking to recruit a qualified, competent, self-confident, proactive Assistant Site Camp Manager (Assistant Camp Boss). The selected individual will get a promising opportunity to work on the ongoing project.
Project-based contractual job.
Contract Duration: 12 Months. (maybe extended by the Company, if required)
Job Responsibilities
Assist Site Camp Manager to carry out the daily, weekly and monthly duties as laid out by the Company and below detailed.
During absence of Site Camp Manager play role as a Incharge of Site Camp Manager for WTP, Intake, Outhouses etc.
Fill and keep record of administrative forms in accordance with the Company rules.
Supervise and take part to the training of staff, according to the rules of HSE, Food Hygiene and Safety, HACCP, etc.
Responsible for requests made to warehouse, stocking and stock checking in addition to cost control reporting according to the rules made by the Company, always ensuring a minimum stock quantity for each item.
Responsible for cold and dry stores in the location. You are entitled to keep the keys and will be responsible for any eventual shortages.
Monthly Inventory with reported expiry date of all products.
Keep a record and recap of the weekly menu agreed with employees.
Keep a record and recap of: Daily presences of the Client, Daily inventory, Cash and market movement in proper forms,
Fill the Local staff Time sheet and attendance register.
Responsible for the effective cleaning of the kitchen and all its corresponding areas, the dining area and stores, in accordance with the food Hygiene and Safety rules.
Supervise the preparation of all meals and ensure that menus established are being adhered to.
Ensure that all food, products and merchandise are in conformity with the Company standards.
Ensure that all staff, Local and Expatriates, wear PPE, clean uniforms at all times and that the food handling staff wear disposable hand gloves and hats at all times, not only during service.
Ensure that the housekeeping of the accommodation should be carried out in line with reviewed standards, every day and whenever required.
Ensure that the laundry schedule is carried out accordingly, instructing the Local staff on how to use the various cleaning products and regularly on a daily basis, draw to their attention the safety procedures during use.
Carry out regular inspections of the accommodation, offices, common areas, dining area, stores (dry and cold rooms, guard houses) in order to ensure that cleaning and maintenance work have been carried out in accordance with Company rules.
It is compulsory to be always present on the food line during the meal service as this is an essential element of your duty.
Ensure the housekeeping of the accommodations and all the buildings in the camp (including restaurant, office, recreation room, guard house, outhouse etc.)
To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Any Discipline
Bachelor of Tourism & Hospitality Management (BTHM) from any govt. recognized universities. Any Other related degrees or certifications.
Minimum 5-7 years previous experience including managing large remote camps, including 3 years experience in a managerial role
Post-Secondary Hospitality Management & or related training an asset.
Fluent & literate in the English language with reading and writing competency.
Mandatory proficiency with computer awareness & use.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel and electronic mail is required.
Awareness of all industrial kitchen equipment operations & maintenance would be an asset.
Preferred Professional Certification: Food Bevrage,Food Safety HACCP FSMS Course,Hotel Management
Skills Required: Accounts, Excellent communication skill, Fluency in English speaking, Good command over MS Office Package, Hotel Management
