Job Context

  • We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (Air Ticketing & Reservation) with a wealth of industry knowledge to lead the Sales, Marketing, PR communications for our Company and scale revenue to the next level.
  • To ensure success, the ideal candidate should be comfortable splitting their hours between the offices, on-site visits, and attending council meetings. The successful candidate will drive performance and growth with responsibility for marketing strategy and sales plans.
  • Report to: Additional Managing Director

Job Responsibilities

  • Airline Ticketing & reservation (Domestic, International & Umrah), Creating PNR, Issuing and Reissuing Tickets using GDS (saber & Amadeus), Fare computation, Product knowledge, Customer Service, Processes cancellations and modifications of reservations.
  • Sell Tickets and Reservation.
  • Market Visit, client hunt, creating market opportunity.
  • Monitor & follow-up the individual, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales target.
  • Provide periodic air product training to Sales Department to minimize internal administrative errors and to ensure their communication with guests is as accurate as possible.
  • Participate in post tour review meetings.
  • Maintain all ARC and IATAN accreditation documents to stay compliant.
  • Relationship Maintain with Airlines & GDS personnel.
  • Provide necessary support to Visa & Package tour Processing Sector.
  • Dealing with customer complaints and requests effectively and courteously, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible.
  • Monitor market fares versus air add-on charts and recommend changes as necessary from published fares, group fares, fare sales, web, low cost carriers, airline contracts and consolidators
  • Monitor competitors and awareness of other tour operator air business models.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to optimize margin and improve guest value.
  • Stay informed of regulatory and security issues and escalate where necessary.
  • Oversee quality control – ensure best practice is adopted to minimize air reservation errors.
  • Produce monthly P&L report, schedule of deposits & other KPI’s as required relating to department activity.
  • Sorting out issues that may increase bookings or reservations.
  • Increase sell by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as Umrah packages, tour packages, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
  • Manage Daily Official works. Making invoices & maintaining ticketing and visa-related accounts.
  • Manage corporate clients through emails and other ways of communication.
  • Must remain updated on Airline/ Travel notices and circulars and update the reservation team, sales team, and others accordingly.
  • All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing or related major.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 45 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Ticketing Operations Manager in air ticketing environment.
  • Working knowledge of airline contracts
  • Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solves problems quickly and communicates clearly.
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to direct the actions of others.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • A team player with the ability to work with a multitude of departments and staff members of all levels.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
