Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities: efficiently resolve all compliance issues, maintain healthy & safe working environment and be prepared for audit at any time.
  • Main Activities:
  • Ensure compliance issues as directed by department head.
  • Stand for vendor compliance requirements and follow up compliance issues.
  • Ensure facility’s compliance requirements as per local/international legal standards.
  • Find out any non-conformity in relation to compliance and make sure that those findings are resolved in a systematic and planned manner.
  • Prepare & update of all compliance related documents/registers as per buyer’s requirement
  • Prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against audit reports.
  • To face audit like ALLIANCE, BSCI, SEDEX, SCAN, ACCORD, FCCA, CSR, PSA, GRS, RCS, GOTs, OCS for different kinds of buyers
  • Collect and maintain regulatory documents relating to labor ordinance, occupational health & safety and social responsibility etc.
  • Ensure healthy workplace maintaining efficient operation of safety, hygiene and environment.
  • Act as an effective communication liaison between workers and management and bring grievances of workers to the notice of management.
  • Encourage and motivate workers for better performance and make them understand about importance of factory’s rules and regulations, buyer’s COC & Country Law.
  • To assist in preparing / updating policies for compliance
  • To maintain and make renewal of all necessary license/certificates/permits
  • Follow up the management of recruitment, working environment & working conditions, leave, dispute, training, appraisal and compensation.
  • To arrange all kinds of meeting (Compliance Issue), make up to date the registers
  • Any other tasks assigned by management

Job Qualification

  • Masters in any discipline/M.B.A preferably in HRM from any Public / Reputed Private University with sound knowledge in Bangladesh Labor Law
  • Skills Required: Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct, Social Compliance
