We are looking for a cook who has vast experience in Chinese & Western Cooking
Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
Ensure highest levels of food quality & taste.
Job Responsibilities
Cook especially Western, Thai, Chinese, Italian & Middle Eastern food.
Receiving menu for cooking from the concerned resident owner daily basis.
Serve meals and snacks to family and their guests.
Planned and prepared food for holiday meals, lunch, special functions, and other social events.
Peel, wash, trim, and cook vegetables, fish, and meats, bake bread and pastries and maintain cleanliness, etc.
Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, preservation, and presentation;
Cook food with various utensils or grillers;
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen;
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly;
Check the quality of ingredients daily basis;
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
Prepares of variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality of products served.
Complies consistently with our standard portion sizes cooking methods quality standards, kitchen rules policies, and procedures.
Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, convection ovens, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment.
Prepares items for boiling, grilling, frying, or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and marinating.
Follows proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen & Dinning Areas.
