Job Description



Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage logistics and transportation.
  • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost.
  • Maintain project wise daily equipments’ report.
  • Receive daily individual equipments’ reports from all logistics engineer and Equipment In charge.
  • Meeting with Logistic Engineers and solve the equipment related problems on priority basis.
  • Communicate with Project Managers about the present condition of equipment as well as fulfill their equipment demands as soon as possible.
  • Give proper guidelines to all Equipment In charge how to handle and maintain the equipment easily.
  • Forecast the spare parts and lube oil requirement and communicate with Procurement Department to supply these on priority basis.
  • Meet equipment’s demand or maintain surplus list from Project Manager and forward it to responsible person of Procurement Department with complete guideline.
  • To ensure and fulfill the demand of required technical persons (Mechanic, Electrician, Operator etc.) for all projects.
  • To handle any critical situation of troubleshooting, engine overhauling, hydraulic parts repair gearbox repair etc. and give proper advice to Logistic Engineer, Equipment In charge and Mechanic.
  • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
  • To ensure the requirements of foreign purchase of spare parts, forward demand to responsible person of Procurement Department and discuss with the higher level if necessary.
  • To look after proper maintenance work of all types of equipment and vehicles including light and heavy vehicles (Pay loader, Excavator, Fork-lift, Crane etc.) and report accordingly.
  • Deliver solutions for logistics related problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
  • Any other work as per instruction of Board and Management.

Educational Requirements

  • M.Sc / B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed Public/Private University/Institution.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 10 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in working Construction based company will get additional preference.
  • Experience in working SAP ERP software will get additional preference.
  • Must have good knowledge in MS Office related task (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint etc.).
  • Must have good communication skill.
  • Flexible of taking any kind of responsibility.
  • Must have presentation skill in both Bangla and English.

Job Qualification
