Job Responsibilities

• Practical work experience and sound knowledge in Bangladesh National Building Code in regards to electrical and electronic standards.
• Practical work experience and sound knowledge in Bangladesh Fire Fighting Code in regards to electrical and electronic standards.
• Practical work experience and sound knowledge regarding assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronics wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.
• Maintain a safe and well regulated environment where all electrical and electronic equipment are operational and maintained as per the standards.
• Execute plans of installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic control, wiring, lighting, fans, heating, ventilation, air-condition, and pump motor systems to name a few.
• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic apparatus, fixtures, lab electrification etc.
• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing distribution conduits, conductors, circuit breakers, relays, isolators, switches to name a few to ensure safe and compatibility of components.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and minor repairing substation equipment e.g. ring main unit, HT switchgear, distribution transformer, transformer oil, LT switchgear, PFI panel, HT and LT circuit breakers, relays, batteries, charger system, and all control equipment used in a substation.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and minor repairing generator equipment e.g. generator switchgears, circuit breakers, relays, fuel, lubrication oil ATS, synchronization panel and all control equipment used in a generator.
• Assist substation, generator, lift, HVAC, and firefighting systems service providing vendors for their routine-maintaince sessions.
• Make a schedule and perform preventive maintenance of all mentioned electrical and electronic systems and sub-systems above to keep minimum downtime due to electrical breakdown.
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
• Any other duties, as assigned by the authority.
