Job Responsibilities

• Act in accordance with local protocols and standard operating procedures to provide the best possible healthcare for patients.
• On a clinical shift:
• Be responsible for the clinical management of patients attending the Emergency Department.
• Supervise junior medical officers and nurses.
• Advise and support other non-medical staff in the Emergency Department.
• Working with the senior nurse to ensure the effective operation of the Department.
• Lead the trauma team and cardiac arrest calls and any emergency code.
• Assess patients that enter the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patients’ recovery.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patient’s condition.
• Plan appropriate investigation, treatment, and patient care.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists and ensure treatment.
• Coordinate with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.
• Contribute to and support the hospital Emergency Planning, and Preparedness.

Educational Requirements

• FCPS in Critical Care or MRCP/MD in Critical Care.

Experience Requirements

• 2 to 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 45 years
• 2 – 5 years’ experience in a Critical Care.
