Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka (with frequent visits to outlets)
Job Responsibilities
Provide urgent legal assistance (GD filing, Mobile court handling, Product related issues, etc.) to the concerned department and the outlet managers for any legal complexities as per need.
Checking vendor registration forms and all relevant documents so that management can take decisions about vendor enlistment.
Draft and/or vet first contracts, Agreements, MOUs, legal notices, replies, other notices, processes, trade letters, other letters, regulatory communications, other communications, etc. as and when required.
Contact the listed vendor for products related issues such as Labeling, Manufacture and Expiry Date, Products License from BSTI, Import related documents of the said products.
Maintain Liaison with different govt. or regulatory bodies/ authorities.
Cross Checking all pending vendor forms and following up on the approval process.
Attend and arrange Vendor meetings with existing & new vendors.
Meeting with vendor for product-related issues such as packaging, certification mark, product quality, gondola rent-related agreements, lease agreement price negotiation, etc.
Joining monthly meetings of different government offices such as BSTI, Consumer Rights, Directorate of different Ministry, Pure food authority, City corporation authorities, etc.
Dealing consumer rights authorities for legal issues.
Meet & Contact Mobile Court Authority on different issues.
Analysis of different types of legal risk and taking necessary measures accordingly.
Provide legal recommendations to the higher management to avoid future legal complexities.
Any other task assigned by the reporting supervisor/management.

LL.B. (Hons) & LL.M. from a reputed local or foreign university.
Experience Requirements
2 to 4 year(s)
Additional Requirements
Age at most 32 years
2-4 year’s experience of practicing in a reputed law firm or experience of working in a multinational/corporate environment.
Sound knowledge on Company Law, contract law, labor law, commercial law, local court for Retail Industry.
At least 2-4 years of job experience in practicing local laws of Bangladesh.
Excellent communication skills with the people of diverse backgrounds.
Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to change priorities.
Computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) & Outlook.
Able to work in a team and independently.
Positive attitude to visit the Outlets on regular basis.
Able to handle workload with patience and proven time management aptitude is essential.
Excellent vetting, drafting & writing skills.
Well understand of strategy of doing things.
Practical knowledge on Company law, contract law, labor law, commercial law, local court proceeding.
Excellent command over both oral and written English and Bangla languages.
Should have good communication skills in both Bengali and English.
