Job Description



Job Responsibilities

  • Establish effective communication between management and workers and hold consultations with a view to maintain harmonious relations between the management and workers
  • Provide counseling to the workers on general issues like company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and discipline
  • Partake actively in the Participation Committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Conduct awareness training programs on rules and regulations as per Buyer’s Code of Conduct & law of the country
  • Maintain up-to-date database, records, log, registers for different areas of counseling and submit reports to the management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all over welfare activities as per Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015
  • Look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate wash room facility, drinking water, etc
  • Advise and brief workers on the proper use of PPE, machine guard, sanitation, fire safety, etc.
  • Handle all grievances as per labor laws
  • Maintain compliance as per company policy
  • Conduct orientation for new employees.

Educational Requirements

  • MBA/Masters in any discipline
  • PGD in HRM will get preference.
  • Skills Required: Bangladesh Labor Law

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Counseling, General HR, Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct, Welfare
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Garments Accessories, Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 25 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • The incumbent should have at least 2 years work experience in Welfare & Counseling with large knit garments.
  • Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
  • Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
  • Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
  • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
