Job Context

Yellow, the premier fashion brand of Bangladesh is looking for experienced fashion designers to join the design team. Categories of interest include ethnic wear for Kids & girls category. Yellow is a leading multinational brand based in Bangladesh. A division of Beximco, one of Bangladesh`s leading industrial groups, Yellow has stores in Bangladesh and Pakistan and is expanding to other countries.

Job Responsibilities

• Should have Kids & Girls’ ethnic wear designing experience
• Should have knowledge on fabric types and fabric sources related to girls’ ethnic wear
• Should have experience in designing kids & girls’ ethnic tops etc.
• Work with design team to create best-selling styles for Yellow seasonal collections.
• Research market trends to understand new fabrics, colors, silhouettes, fits, washes
• Create hand-drawn sketches, designs, flat patterns, technical drawings, and other required art / illustrations
• Create design and concept boards to communicate seasonal direction
• Select textiles and color, graphics/prints, materials, fit, and trims to make popular and best-selling styles
• Apply garment pattern-making and garment fitting techniques to ensure proper construction.

• Degree in design from renowned program such as BUFT or Shanto-Marium preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 7 to 10 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Art & Sketch, Fashion Design
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments

Additional Requirements

• Age 31 to 35 years
• Both males and females are allowed to apply
• Should be able to work independently
• Should have kids & girls’ ethnic wear designing experience
• Should have knowledge on fabric types and fabric sources related to girls’ ethnic wear
• Should have experience in designing girls’ ethnic tops, trail, frock etc.,
