Job Context

  • Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a non-governmental; non-political and non-profitable community development organization is going to implement SHOUHARDOIII plus & DRR program supported by CARE Bangladesh. The projects will continue to delivery improve gender equitable and resilient food nutrition security, increasing equitable access to income. Projects will achieve crosscutting components of gender, governance and resilience. The projects supports communities to develop their capacity to adapt to climate change and improve their resilience to climate change, as well as supporting communities to reduce their climate change impact, Work with us to protect resources, improving quality of life and raise awareness, while providing people with access to the tools and knowledge to adapt and respond to adverse climatic impacts and adopt sustainable practices in Kurigram.

Job Responsibilities

    Responsible for fund projection, different payment and financial reporting. Responsible to track program advances and its adjustment, track expenses in line with budget heads and accomplish financial reconciliation and reports. Assist APM-F&O for different compliance issues, liaison with finance department of CARE and own organization. Support APM-F&O to facilitate different audits (internal and external). Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Educational Requirements

  • M. Com. / B. Com with 3 years’ practical experience in financial management of donor funded project. Have working knowledge on financial management of donor funds, GAAP, VAT, Tax & donor compliance especially for USAID compliance requirements. Skilled in budget preparation, budget monitoring and procurement. Have administrative skills, ability to work in a team, participatory planning and good interpersonal skill. Proficiency in computer, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power point) and email communication are essential.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidate should have a good knowledge on safe guarding (Child Protection, Gender & Anti sexual harassment) issue. Should have valid Motor bike driving license. Ensuring pandemic-related safeguards are in place at meetings. Candidate will have to mention their personal email address, mobile phone & Skype ID in the CV.

  • Monthly gross salary BDT-41,602/-.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • 1 festival bonus equivalent to 1 month gross salary for each year. 5-10% salary increment (based on gross salary) in each year as per performance appraisal. Other admissible benefit as per MJSKS policy which is mentioned in the project budget.
