Job Context

    Butterfly Park – Chittagong (A sister Concern of Intraco Group) is looking a qualified Manager, Food & Beverage to be responsible for managing all F&B operations and for providing an outstanding guest experience. The effective candidate will be able to forecast, strategy and manage all F&B orders, supervise and business. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accomplishment of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs and profitability.
  • Co-ordinate with all large groups meeting/banquet planners their specific group requirements with the services & facilities offered. This includes proposals, contracts, estimated and actual function statements.
  • Directly accountable for large function billings and supervision medium/small function billings with regard to truthfulness and timeliness.
  • Confirming that services meet customer /client’s specifications and decrease number of customer complaints.
  • Guarantee Food & Beverage inventory for functions, including opening and closing inventories.
  • Communicate on an on-going basis with the Sales Department to ensure all client needs and requirements will be met.
  • Regular check of Banquet Food and Beverage quality, Banquet services and pallet presentation.
  • Meeting with conveners and confirming proper set-up of Function Room at time of Function while on duty.
  • Accountable for staff training and development.
  • Overall maintenance of the operation at a level in keeping with the standards prescribed and report any deficiencies in equipment and facilities.
  • Handle all Food & Beverage inquiries and ensure timely follow up on the same business day and Supervision of daily paper flow including Proposals, and Function Contracts.
  • Attendance at weekly F&B meeting and Department Head meeting and participation in Manager on Duty shifts as required.
  • Ensure a professional attitude and proper business attire when on property, ready to meet or service a client at any time.
  • To assist in menu planning and pricing and completion of monthly inventory.
  • All other duties as directed by the Higher Management

  • Degree or college diploma or equivalent in food and beverage management and/or hotel management preferable
  • Skills Required: Food and Beverage

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 8 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Amusement Park, Hotel

Additional Requirements

  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • The applicants must have experience in the Hotel, Resort
  • Excellent management and motivational skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Good Knowledge & understanding regarding Budget Management, Stock Control, Nutritional and Allergy requirements, Purchasing, Invoicing and HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Computer skills for entering details onto the system.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure whilst prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Must have a passion and love for food.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays subject to rotation and a willingness to extend of change hours and days of work from time to time upon request and subject to operational requirements.
