Job Context

• The Manager- Marketing & Merchandising is senior-level position and will be held responsible and accountable for the smooth running of company`s overall marketing function for Casual Wear Division considering capacity booking for round the year
• Job Location: Konabari, Gazipur.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and lead a merchandising team independently.
• Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
• Overseeing the update on production status, sampling & required information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
• Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples etc with on-time delivery.
• Have to manage client account from order inquiry to shipment, Inventory and Supply chain planning.
• Should have knowledge to work through special imported fabric.
• Should have knowledge to source fabrics and trims from abroad.
• To act as a coordinator among all concerned parties with a view to ensure timely execution and shipment of order.
• Responsible for proper follow up and committed with the time line given by Buyers and obviously meet the time line.
• Co-ordinates with production team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer.
• Have to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production.
• Candidate must keep close liaison with buyers & Suppliers for any update of the production. Co-ordinate customers/ suppliers visits and deploys resources accordingly.
• Must have sound knowledge about product costing & pricing process/procedure.
• To deal with the Buyer independently for all the marketing & merchandising activities including price quoting, negotiation and sourcing.
• Responsible for making samples, pricing, costing and should liaison with next production Merchandiser.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc in Textile Engineering / MBA in Apparel Manufacturing / Masters from any reputed University.

Experience Requirements

• At least 7 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Knit Merchandising
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 40 years
