Job Context

Should be capable to accomplish all tasks of the Accounts, Finance & Commercial Department of the group as a leader.

Job Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily business operations.
• Developing & implementing growth strategies.
• Training low-level managers and staff.
• Creating & Managing Budget.
• Evaluating performance and productivity.
• Analyzing accounting and financial data.
• Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
• Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
• Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
• Maintain the financial health of the organization.
• Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.
• Developing long-term business plans based on these reports.
• Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
• Must be able to work independently as head of the department and supervise the team to ensure that Custom, Bond, VAT, clearing & forwarding, and incentive issues, etc are properly negotiated.
• Should efficiently handle import /export, Bank, Bond, EPB, cash incentive, Shipping Line, BKMEA, BGMEA etc.
• Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping lines, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, VAT department, production department, etc.
• Responsible for monitoring all licenses/certificates of the company.
• Check all export documents required at different levels.
• Negotiate with the bank for a preferential exchange rate for payment of deferred L/C on the maturity date.
• Ensure all kinds of commercial activities.
• Any other jobs assigned by the management

Educational Requirements

• Master of Commerce (MCom)
• Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant (ACA/ACMA)/ CA CC
• MBA (Finance)/ FCA/ FCMA/ FCS

• At least 20 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Commercial, Finance/ Accounts
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments

Additional Requirements

• Age 40 to 50 years
