Responsible for the Group Commercial functions timely and cost effectively.
Ensure liaison with Government institutions & autonomous bodies i.e. BEPZA, BGMEA,
BKMEA, BTMA, EPB, Bank, BIDA, BGAMEA, CUSTOM, BOND & NBR, Office of the Chief Controller of Imports & Exports (CCIE), etc.
Responsible to negotiate to settle & finalize various issues related to customs/ Bonds /
BEPZA / Bank/ Export / Import/ LC/ Freight Forwarding / C&F / Supply Chain etc. of Commercial department of the Group.
Accomplish effective communications with various govt./ non-govt. agencies for on time delivery of goods and execution of import & export procedures.
Follow-up Export payment and report to management and ensure non delay of payments. Ensure handing over relevant documents for transportation of goods & materials to and from ports.
Review or update Commercial activities / practices in accordance with new or changing
standards, regulations and applicable national & international laws.
Obtain/renewal of all kind of related licenses e.g. ERC, IRC, Trade License, BOND, TIN, VAT, EPB, BGMEA, BTMEA and Fire license.

At least 15 year(s)
Additional Requirements
At least 15 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Must have in depth knowledge in Export-Import Policy. BEPZA / BEZA Instructions, Custom Bond, Custom clearing & Forwarding related issues, HS Code, CTPAT, Guideline for Foreign Exchange transaction (GFET), ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) guidelines – Global Trade Financing etc.
Should have strong leadership capacity.
Sharp negotiating skills with a proven track record of successful negotiations.
Good at problem solving and independent decision making.
Working experience in the EPZ based RMG sector.
