Job Context

  • Our expanding company is seeking to hire an operations manager to join our leadership team. You will be in charge of providing inspired leadership for the operation of one of our organization`s lines of business, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. You will also be assisting our Human Resources department with recruiting, when necessary, and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.
  • We are looking for a well-organized head of operations to oversee activities across various departments. The responsibilities of a head of the operation include formulating strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the implementation of IT systems.
  • You should also design policies and ensure that customer service is up to standard.
  • To be successful as a head of operations, you should demonstrate solid leadership and analytical skills, exhibit strong business acumen, as well as a commitment to productivity. Ultimately, a competent Head of Operations should ensure staff productivity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Directing execution of company and fund operations
  • Contributing in strategy making; budgeting & planning
  • Managing & supervising reporting to all stakeholders such as regulators, trustee, custodians
  • Ensuring that internal controls are properly in place and functioning
  • Arranging and directing necessary meetings with key stakeholders
  • Supervising the internal record keeping process and preparing financial statements
  • Arranging and facilitating external audit
  • Managing activities with CDBL
  • Maintaining investor database and managing dividend distribution
  • Managing company’s secretarial works
  • Any other task assigned by the management.
  • Additional Job Skills, Qualification and Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
  • Manage data collection for updating operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
  • Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
  • Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
  • Work with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Grow the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
  • Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments
  • Strong budget development and oversight skills
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of general business software and an aptitude for learning new applications.

Educational Requirements

  • Masters/MBA/M.Com from a reputed university with good academic background.
  • Professional background (CFA/ACCA/CA qualified) will get preference.
