The Department of Law of the Canadian University of Bangladesh seeks applications for the position of Lecturer.
Job Responsibilities
To prepare a course outline, course calendar, lesson plan, tutorial, and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial, and practical classes, extension teaching, related research, and cooperative field experiences.
To prepare questions, invigilate tests and exams, mark and grade scripts, and assign homework.
To guide and supervise project work, internships, dissertations, and theses as and when assigned.
To guide and supervise students in performing co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Provide assistance in different activities of the university when called upon to do so.
Carry out administrative tasks initiated by the teacher himself/herself, assigned by the department, faculty, or university, or undertaken under the instruction of top authority.
To monitor and report on the implementation of the strategic policy plan for the respective department or school.
To ensure academic discipline and standards, as well as to report on other matters, including student affairs at the Canadian University of Bangladesh, and to carry out responsibilities under the 2010 Private University Act
