Job Context

  • Manager/ Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing experience in Hospitality Industry
  • Innotel is looking for experienced – Hotel management Assistant Manager / Manager Sales & Marketing who is responsible for prospecting for new business, while maintaining and nurturing old customers and accounts for the hotel and who can generate top line hotel`s revenues. As a Sales personnel, he/she will responsible for developing and foster business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls. Also develops strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue. Additionally, work with individual hotel teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.

Job Responsibilities

  • A clear understanding of the hotel’s business strategies, set goals and determine action plans to meet the goals.
  • The manager must maintain awareness of the factors that influence the hotel industry and gain a deep understanding of the needs and attitudes of a hotel’s customers.
  • A manager will be responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional activities to meet customer needs, working closely with other hotel staff to ensure customers are satisfied with the facilities and their time there.
  • Result oriented and able to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitoring competition.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
  • Conducts daily sales calls and arranges site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
  • Participate in sales calls of the sales team to acquire new business and close on business.
  • Able to supports hotel service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, trade shows, etc.
  • Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acquire and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.
  • Closely follow up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients
  • Preferably on his customers profile to fulfill the market demand.
  • Analyzes current client base or target market for the hotel.
  • Devises new ways to expand that client base.
  • Develops promotional and advertising materials for the hotel.
  • Oversees distribution of marketing materials.
  • Reaches out to organizations and businesses that might require a hotel for conferences and events.
  • Use current technology for the benefit of the hospitality property, for example social media such as blogs,
  • Meets with representatives from these companies to explain the hotel’s merits and amenities.
  • Networks special event planners to encourage hotel bookings.
  • Overcomes hesitations of clients to close a sale.
  • Manages accounts of high-profile clients.
  • Addresses and resolves any issues or complaints regarding sales or marketing.
  • Ensures that guests are enjoying their stay at the hotel and that large group needs are met.
  • Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)/Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management
