Job Context

    “Galesia Hotel & Resort” We are looking for the following position for an immediate appointment. As a Sales personnel, you are responsible for developing and fostering business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls. Also develops strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue. Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools. Additionally, work with individual hotel teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Sales & Marketing for the hotel and achieving the sales target.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
  • Represent Galesia Hotel & Resort in various events and exhibitions.
  • Implements all sales action plans related to market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
  • Conducts daily sales calls and arranges site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
  • Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, develop professional long-term business relationships.
  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
  • Participate in sales calls of the sales team to acquire new business and close on business.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of the business (e.g. CVGR, generating proposal, Corporate Rate Application letter, writing contract, customer correspondence).
  • Able to supports hotel service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  • Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
  • Develop strong relationships with other departments to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
  • Assess additional training needs based on data gathered and interaction with the sales team from property visits.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, trade shows, etc.
  • Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acquire and develop new business accounts and prepare sales proposals for clients.
  • Closely follow up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 30 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Excellent communication skill and fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Should have excellent computer knowledge of MS word, excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, etc.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of practical working experience in the same or similar position in an International Brand Hotel will get preference.
  • Ability to develop interpersonal relationships within and outside the organization.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and guest-focused team player.
