The Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining learning programs that foster professional growth, mobility, and development, ensuring all staff have the appropriate skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform in their current positions and grow into roles of increasing responsibility over time. The Manager will work to inspire an organization-wide culture of learning, growth and belonging. This position will launch leadership development and career path programs aligned with organizational goals and values. This position is expected to develop and deliver innovative learning programs that enable the retention, attraction, and success of exceptional talent.
Job Responsibilities
Work different levels of staff to determine training and development needs and share with the Group HR Head.
Manage the Employee orientation, training and placement into the business of all incoming junior & senior professionals.
Act as a trusted advisor and mentor and partner with the “Managers” and junior professionals to develop relevant career development paths
Play a key role in providing ongoing management to the junior professionals to include conducting performance reviews, participating in review committees and promotion decisions, and determining individual compensation recommendations in partnership with department heads
Design, develop and implement talent and leadership development concepts and approaches
Engage with department personnel to understand their business challenges, identify their training needs, and develop effective learning solutions
Ensure the development of high-quality content, relevant to the audiences while incorporating internal and external best practices
Use best practices for engaging, contracting, discovering, implementing and evaluating of learning and organization development solutions
Manage external consultants/vendors and direct their efforts to support organizational initiatives
Excellent written and verbal English language required
