Job Description



Job Responsibilities

  • Liaison with various govt. and non-govt. organization such as AC (Land) office, Tahshil, Sub-Registry office, RAJUK, REHAB, & others related issues or authority.
  • Dealing with land-related activities such as land measurement, verification of title & legal rights, Ground Rent, mortgage, power of attorney, registration/ deed/ agreement/ baina, commissioning, mutation of land & other legal documents from related Govt. Office.
  • Liaison with settlement office for Map & Record.
  • Conduct initial meetings with the clients, take down details, receive documents and keep in touch with clients and follow-up.
  • Communicate with the land Owners & Agents and discuss about possession of the proposed Land.
  • Ensure periodic review of pending cases & provide required support to legal team to facilitate appropriate handling & resolution.
  • Provide legal assistance while dealing with some particular legal tasks, litigations, contracts, dispute resolution & Co-ordinate with External Lawyers and ensure successful handling & resolution of pending cases in different courts/ tribunals.
  • Draft Legal Notice, agreement, Plaint, Written Objection and other petitions as and when necessary to represent the company.
  • Drafting and vetting all kinds of Agreements.
  • All Kinds of Land Related Vetting, (Title Deed, Baya Deed, khatians LDT etc.).
  • To understand all land related documents ( C.S, S.A, R.S, City Jorip, Deed, via Deed, Porcha, Warish Sonod, Wakalotnama, Dag, Khatian etc ).
  • Making all of land baina , registration & clients deed.
  • Sound knowledge about land mutation & procurement matter.
  • To understand and handling land related issues like; Deed of Agreement, Power of Attorney, Sale Deed, Sub-kabla deed, various legal letters/ reply against letters/ affidavit/ agreement/ contract/ deed etc.
  • Compliance with respective Regulatory Authority.
  • Follow-up all licenses applicable to business / operations and regular update their expiry date for renewal.
  • Dealing with land related activities such as land measurement, negotiation, purchase, Tax, VAT, mortgage, registration/ deed/ agreement/ bayna, commissioning, etc.
  • Providing appropriate reporting and information to the company in connection with the activities of the Land purchase & procurement with Legal issues.
  • Preparations of case drafts.
  • Co- ordination with all departments of the Company regarding legal issues as and when required.
  • Any other tasks as and when assign by the Management.

Educational Requirements

  • LLB with LLM from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements

  • 7 to 10 year(s)

  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • Manager of land law, lawyer with regulatory.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Group of Companies, Law Firm.
  • The applicant should have post qualified experience in a professional legal firm.
  • Should be good in drafting Legal documents both in Bangla and in English.
  • Should have good analytical skill.
  • Should have good MS office application skill especially in Ms-Word & Ms-Excel.
  • Should have sincere, self-motivated, hardworking & honesty.
  • At least 07-10 years hands-on-experience.
  • Proactive, analytical & can work under stress.
  • Responsible and responsive to concerned users.
  • Strong organization and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Ability to work in direct and cross-functional teams.
  • Should have strong interpersonal skills and leadership quality with decision making.
  • Capable to work under pressure.
  • Should have positive and flexible attitude.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • T/A, Mobile bill.
  • Salary Review: Yearly.
  • Festival Bonus: Yearly-02 (After 06 months successfully completed probationary period).
