Job Context

The Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the manufacturing engineering department, facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the organization. Work in a labor-intensive production environment, and work with American and Japanese management teams to review project milestones.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for evaluating the production and manufacturing processes and identifying areas of improvement to enhance the quality of products and maximize the staff’s productivity.
• Design new SOP and maintain the SOP of production processes to minimize production costs and maintain quality standards.
• Identify production performance degradation and provide improvements to the production process for performance improvement.
• Prepare production performance reports and provide feedback to make improvements in production process and overall production performance.
• Collaborate with other factory managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
• Assess cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure continuous improvement in process, cost, quality, and production.
• Provide guidance and oversight in development and execution of plant renovations and expansions, and coordinates outside contractors and vendors.
• Handle the resolution for process failures and coordinate with the process engineers for immediate solutions to avoid its reoccurrence.
• Ensure that lean initiatives are continually identified and implemented through Kaizen events.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and/or other appropriate leadership with programs, activities, and responsibilities of the maintenance department.
• Prepare and implements the departmental budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc. in Industrial Management / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering & Production, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering field, required.

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 45 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, and Manufacturing (FMCG).
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• A strong mechanical background.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple simultaneous tasks.
