The Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the manufacturing engineering department, facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the organization. Work in a labor-intensive production environment, and work with American and Japanese management teams to review project milestones.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for evaluating the production and manufacturing processes and identifying areas of improvement to enhance the quality of products and maximize the staff’s productivity.
Design new SOP and maintain the SOP of production processes to minimize production costs and maintain quality standards.
Identify production performance degradation and provide improvements to the production process for performance improvement.
Prepare production performance reports and provide feedback to make improvements in production process and overall production performance.
Collaborate with other factory managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
Assess cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes.
Develop and implement recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Ensure continuous improvement in process, cost, quality, and production.
Provide guidance and oversight in development and execution of plant renovations and expansions, and coordinates outside contractors and vendors.
Handle the resolution for process failures and coordinate with the process engineers for immediate solutions to avoid its reoccurrence.
Ensure that lean initiatives are continually identified and implemented through Kaizen events.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and/or other appropriate leadership with programs, activities, and responsibilities of the maintenance department.
Prepare and implements the departmental budget.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Educational Requirements
B.Sc. in Industrial Management / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering & Production, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering field, required.
Experience Requirements
At least 5 year(s)

Age 30 to 45 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, and Manufacturing (FMCG).
At least 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
A strong mechanical background.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to effectively handle multiple simultaneous tasks.
