Abdul Kadir Molla International School (AKMIS) has been established in 2013 by Mr. Abdul Kadir Molla, Managing Director of Thermax Group Limited as a non-profit organization. This school is being run with the support of Mazid Molla Foundation. Mr. Abdul Kadir Molla is the founder Chairman of Mazid Molla Foundation. AKMIS offers education through two international curriculums from Nursery to Grade 12. AKMIS is an IB World School (IB School Code: 060139) which is authorized to offer Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). AKMIS is also a Cambridge International School (Cambridge International School Number: BD070) to offer Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, O Level, IGCSE and AS/A Level programmes. Job Responsibilities

• Teaching students based on Cambridge/ IB Curriculum guidelines within your specialist subject areas.
• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons.
• Encouraging student participation in lessons and in other school-related activities.
• Supporting the leadership team to implement the school’s development plan.
• Assessing and reporting on the behavior of students.
• Providing educational and social guidance to students and/or signposting them to specialist areas of advice when needed.
• Ensuring the highest standards of quality and applying the most up-to-date teaching methods.
• Taking part in opportunities to boost your own learning and continuous professional development (CPD).
• Attending and taking part in staff meetings to support the smooth running and administration of the school.
• Collaborating with parents, careers, guardians, support workers, and other professionals to safeguard and ensure the educational welfare of statement students who may have special educational needs (SEN).

Educational Requirements

• Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics or related subjects
• O/A Level background will be given preference.

Experience Requirements

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 60 years
• Experience in teaching in English Medium School (IB/ Cambridge/ Edexcel).
• High level of proficiency in English (both verbal & written) is essential.
• Enthusiastic and sympathetic attitude towards young children.
• Goal oriented and can handle jobs under pressure.
• Must have the skill of using MS Office and G Suite.
