Job Context

• Company Description: TWOSUNS Bangladesh Ltd. is a member of TWOSUNS Group who is a Hong Kong based trims supplier with operations in Hong Kong, China, Switzerland and Germany. We focus on handling the production of high-end plastic/metal string seals and leather/PU patches and other specials for European and American clients.
• Due to business expansion into Bangladesh, our Dhaka factory is looking for high caliber people to join our newly set up plastic injection mold shop.
• Job Summary: The Design Engineer is responsible for design of customized injection molding tools from prototyping to production. This position involves collaborating on molding and tooling and developing the best product solutions for our customers across multiple industries.

Job Responsibilities

• Design injection molding tools for the company.
• Collaborate with customers to provide fast prototype parts for testing and evaluation.
• Design production molds and tools for customized engineering parts.
• Fabricate molds and tooling for prototype needs.
• Design and develop production tooling and process to meet customer requirements on technical specifications and quality.
• Work with Production Engineering to develop tooling and systems to optimize production efficiency and reduce downstream manual processes.

Educational Requirements

• Associates Degree in a technical discipline or related field.

Experience Requirements

• At least 15 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• 15+ years manufacturing experience with at least 10 years’ experience in injection molding.
• Extensive experience and expertise on injection molding tooling design.
• High level of attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Cross-functional business team environment experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
