Job Responsibilities

  • To prepare factory for facing different audit such as HIGG, Customer’s COC Standard, social / ethical / environmental / technical / Supply Chain Security (SCS) / QMS audit/Fire & Safety/Building and Electric Safety/BSCI/ Sedex/WRAP/Oeko-tex / ICS/C-TPAT/ /ACCORD / GOTS/ OCS and others Certification Audits) etc.
  • Ensure 100% implementation of Buyer’s COC, Labor Law 2006 and Labor Rules 2015.
  • Ensure the factory is always prepared / ready for following audits like, social compliance Audit, Technical/ Quality Assurance Audit & Security System Audit (GSV).
  • Establish a full functional and effective fire safety management system.
  • Prepare all safety standards, reports & documentation regarding fire safety issues including fire evacuation plan and procedure.
  • Maintain & ensure all safety protocols in the factory.
  • Follow up that all corrective actions have been taken/follow up regularly as per CAP submitted.
  • To develop compliance policies, communicate with others, Implements and periodically review as per local law & different brand code of conducts.
  • Educate and train factory employees on compliance standards and requirements.
  • To ensure Fire, Health & Safety issues are in order.
  • Communicate with Compliance Audit firms, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Other related offices etc.
  • To make internal audit plan, conduct internal audit and time to time reporting to the top management regarding the improvement of the system.
  • Train up firefighting team members on fire safety, protection, fighting and first-aid on demonstration basis to make sure all standard followed during emergency and evacuation as well as fire prevention activities.
  • Ensure security aspects of the company and train securities to safe guard of the organization.
  • Inspect fire equipment as required by Alliance/Accord Standard.
  • Ensure all fire fighters and security personnel are in right order and perform their duties as per requirement.
  • Monitor / supervise the electrical/ power cables / loose wires properly placed and to take remedial measures immediately with Proper channel.
  • Conduct regular fire drill, emergency evacuation drill.

Educational Requirements

  • Masters in any discipline.
  • MBA in HRM from any reputed university will be added advantage.
  • Post-Graduation Diploma on Compliance will be given preference.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age 23 to 32 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct, Training & Development.
  • Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Rules-2015
  • Should Have sound knowledge on different buyers COC, different certification and experienced as a lead auditor is mandatory.
  • Computer knowledge and operating skill is mandatory
  • Six-month professional course on Fire Safety from FSCD will get preference.
