Job Responsibilities

• To lead the OT department and provide directions all OT staffs for their activities.
• Look after the activities of all the operation theaters.
• Prepare employee’s/staff’s duty roster and ensure availability the required number of staffs at the right place at the right time.
• Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are any concerns about patient care.
• Must have commitment to improve care and enrich patient experience about hospital.
• To promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patient, employees, consultants and visitors.
• Consultants, patients and relatives need to be dealt with sensitively and effectively.
• Provide leadership and management to OT, OT Store & CSSD teams, ensuring that an efficient patient service and quality is maintained.
• To ensure Health and Safety policies and practices are understood and followed by the operation theater team.
• To ensure staff are conversant with Fire and Health and Safety policies as well as organize regular drilling program by Govt. authority.
• To deploy staff and resources in accordance with policies.
• To support and suggest the OT Committee, COO in the development of strategic and operational plans, service development proposals.
• Ensure quality services are delivered to both internal and external stakeholders through continuous improvement activities.
• Provide training OT, OT Store & CSSD staffs to improve their performance.
• Ensure compliance with all Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures understanding your role in the prevention of infection among patients and staff.
• Any other job assigned by the management.

• Masters degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements

• At least 8 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Hospital

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 45 years
• Experiences: At least 8 years of which 2 years in a managerial position in the OT department of any renowned hospital in the country or abroad.
