Schedule (hours/days): The time required for the consultancy is estimated at 40 working days within the period from December 1, 2022 – 30 April 2022.
Job Summary: The Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) is planning to hire services of a consultant for the documentation of its activities and development of photo bank. The consultant will collaboratively work with the hiring unit and program focal points and visit project sites to provide professional photographic coverage in digital format.
Job Responsibilities
Provide digital photographic coverage for communication materials, website, publications, social media and campaign during the contract period.
Successfully capture and emotionally express the core elements of the situation assigned for coverage.
Cover a range of related subjects and different components of events/activities, as well as general photographs that illustrate the real, positive, and negative, situation of CCP’s clients/target audience.
Provide different visual perspectives (close-up, medium range, long distance), in both horizontal and vertical formats.
Make sure pictures are technically good, i.e., properly exposed, processed and framed.
Provide photos with high resolution and best quality.
Supply all photographic equipment, professional digital camera, and a range of accessories to complete the consultancy/assignment.
Supply complete caption information in “file info” and separate word format captions list for all photographs. Caption information should consist of date, place, subject names and age, and brief description of the situation photographed.
Undertake field trips to ensure the coverage of events/activities.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication, Journalism, Advertising, English or any social sciences subject is mandatory. Diploma or certificate in photography courses is preferred.
Experience Requirements
At least 4 year(s)
Additional Requirements
At least 4 years of working experience in photography with a record of providing high-quality, creative images for clients.
Experience capturing images for development organizations such as UN Agencies, USAID, International NGOs is required.
High level of creativity and initiative.
Have own camera and other photography equipment.
Familiarity with development programs/issues is an asset.
Ability to communicate easily and effectively with people from all walks of life is an asset.
Ability to communicate well in written and spoken English and Bangla. • High level of creativity and initiative

Must be fluent in English and Bangla is required.
