Job Context

We are looking for some dedicated Pool cleaners who will be responsible for keeping pools clean, clear, and healthy. They have to know the use of specialized equipment to vacuum up debris, scrub the walls of the pool, and treat the water with chemicals or other substances to keep it clean and safe. Pool cleaners may also be responsible for maintaining the general upkeep of the pool area itself. This might include cleaning the decking around the pool, removing leaves from the surrounding landscaping, etc. Also, they need to support stuff to help any related jobs in park services. Which includes laundry, gardening and housekeeping.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain swimming pool in a safe and sanitary condition; brush and vacuum swimming
• pool according to established procedures; scrub pool tiles.
• Check and perform preventive maintenance on pumps, chlorinators, heating and filtration
• equipment to maintain operative condition.
• Clean and disinfect pool deck area.
• Conduct chemical tests of water; apply chemicals as appropriate; order chemicals and supplies
• as needed.
• Drain and acid wash pool.
• Maintain filters, back wash and pumps according to established procedures.
• Operate a variety of machines and equipment including pumps, hoses and brushes.
• Repair pool deck equipment as needed.
• Order related equipment, parts and supplies and maintain supply records.
• Prepare and maintain records regarding chlorine and PH levels, time sheets, supplies and County
• Health Department records.
• Set up pool equipment for swim classes, meets and occasional weekend swim events.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

• Age 22 to 35 years
• Only males are allowed to apply
• Previous experience in similar role will get preference.
• Can work as an individual and within a team.
• English speaking is a plus.
• Demonstrate the attitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
• Physically fit – the role requires walking, lifting, bending and other physical abilities while extending training to new cleaning staff.
