Job Context

Otto International is seeking out a passionate Portal and API developer to join our Bangladesh team. You will expand different platforms, implement new features, take ownership of the build and deployment pipelines through a full development lifecycle. You will work in a collaborative environment and develop new skills to strengthen your area of expertise to have shared success

Job Responsibilities

• Define problems and suggest solutions in the perspectives of IT and business processes.
• Develop systems according to business requirements and technical specifications.
• System implementation under various aspects.
• Maintain and support existing department related systems.
• Conduct trainings when necessary.
• Manage functional specification, system testing, UAT and implementations by writing well designed and testable code. Define problems and suggest solutions in the perspectives of IT and business processes.

• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  AWS Cloud, Bootstrap, Java, JavaScript, Mongo DB, MySQL database, PostgreSQL, React Native | NodeJS | HTML | CSS | JavaScript | Github | Git, WordPress

Additional Requirements

• Higher Diploma/ Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline with 5 years of progressively responsible experience related to the technical aspects of application development, web development and all phases of system development life cycle
• Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills in system design, development, and documentation. Must have a strong knowledge of React, JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML5, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL, Bootstrap, Amazon Cloud Services – additional experience with PHP, React Native, PostgreSQL, WordPress customization.
• Previous experience in sizable or multi-national organization is a definite advantage.
• Creative, self-motivated, pro-active, independent, well-organized, with good communication skills in English (written and spoken), and able to work under pressure.
