Job Context

• About School: Ethereal, the first English Medium School in Feni following Cambridge Curriculum with Islamic education, wants to hire a highly qualified and experienced Principal. This unique institute is going to start academic session from 2023 to provide state-of-the-art educational facilities, qualified teachers team and a conducive learning environment for learners.
• We are looking for committed and experienced Principal to complement our qualified workforce of educators and education managers. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to parents and students to create a relationship of mutual trust.

Job Responsibilities

• The Principal serves as the curricular, instructional and professional learning leader of the School and is responsible for the development of all phases of the School Programme.
• The Principal will be responsible for the formulation and execution of the school’s curricular improvement and strategic development plans.
• It is an expectation that this person will have extensive knowledge and experience with delivery and coordination of the Cambridge Primary & Lower Secondary.
• The Principal will be expected to work with year level and single subject teaching teams, and the parent community, demonstrating outstanding communication skills.
• The role also requires supporting and monitoring teachers to ensure that an inquiry approach to learning is delivered across the school and curriculum/syllabus standards are followed.
• Ensure all relevant CAIE communication is shared with all staff.
• Enable all communication and collaboration among all staff involved in implementing the programme.
• Inform the Board about the progress being made in terms of implementation and development.
• Promote Growth Mindset throughout the School.
• Ensure all staff members are made aware of professional development opportunities available and encourage participation.
• Organize teacher support with planning, modelling and strategies in learning environments.
• Ensure that policies are formulated for teaching, learning and assessment.
• Lead the process of developing or reviewing the school’s curriculum documents on a regular basis.

Educational Requirements

• Hon’s & Master in any discipline with minimum CGPA 3.
• O’ level and ‘A’ level is highly preferred or having IELTS score: 6+
• Having B.Ed & M.Ed will be preferable.

Experience Requirements

• At least 10 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 35 to 50 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
• ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, School Management.
• Proven record of serving for leadership position at any Cambridge School.
• Experience in implementing best practices in curriculum, staff development, and instruction.
• Personal qualities associated with good human relations and interpersonal relations
• Ability to lead staff toward instructional improvement and conduct professional learning sessions.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Applicants should be practicing Muslims.
