Job Context

• Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) in collaboration with CARE Bangladesh is going to start SHOUHARDO-III Plus Program that aim to improve Agriculture & Livelihoods, Health Hygiene & Nutrition, Women Empowerment, Governance, Disaster risk reduction & Climate Change adaptation Early Child Marriage reduce the target district is Kurigram in particular. The integrated project will work in the areas of youth governance, sexual reproductive health and rights, CEFM system strengthening & monitoring and girls` economic empowerment that will ultimately contribute to combating early and forced marriage. Through these project, the girls and young women along with the boys and young men will be empowered to drive a systemic change for achieving gender equality and promoting an enabling environment for youth, especially for girls and young women to build their future aspirations and make decisions.

Job Responsibilities

Lead Agriculture & Livelihoods and Nutrition components at Upazila level. Provide technical support to the project team; capacity building of Field Facilitator in the area of Agriculture, Financial Inclusion and Nutrition. Responsible to mobilize Local Service Providers (LSPs) in the area of Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Nutrition. Support program teams including FFs to integrate Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Nutrition, and Gender towards achieving program goal. Maintain coordination and collaboration with Upazila level Govt. departments (DAE, DLS, DoL, UpZ Health & Family Planning Office) including private sector’s partners. Provide day-to day operational support to Field Facilitators including performance management, capacity building etc. Responsible for timely implementation of DIP activity. Prepare QPR, AR, Success story or any other report program need. Any other tasks assigned by PM.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture/Nutrition/any discipline with at least 4 years working experience in any National/International NGO. Educational qualification may be relaxed in case of highly qualified candidate. Having solid working experience in Nutrition and Agriculture components preferably in USAID funded program. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali. Computer skill on MS word, excel, power point, virtual communication (zoom, teams etc.) and others.

Additional Requirements

• Candidate should have a good knowledge on safe guarding (Child Protection, Gender & Anti sexual harassment) issue. Should have valid Motor bike driving license. Ensuring pandemic-related safeguards are in place at meetings. Candidate will have to mention their personal email address, mobile phone & Skype ID in the CV.

Salary

• Monthly gross salary BDT-37,935/-.

Compensation & Other Benefits

• 1 festival bonus equivalent to 1 month gross salary for each year. 5-10% salary increment (based on gross salary) in each year as per performance appraisal. Other admissible benefit as per MJSKS policy which is mentioned in the project budget.
