Job Context

• The duration of the job will be one (1) year and this is a contractual job.
• Work station: Field office

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a Survey to establish a new Chilling Centre at new area
• Work for development for the Dairy farmers by applying the Livestock Extension work policy
• Work with ACDI VOCA Project and submit a report of this project according to project necessity
• Preparing of Budget and target plan on milk collection with necessary test for quality control
• Organize the materials related to milk production, collection, and distribution with good-quality milk
• Attend the regular farmer’s meeting, identification of farmer’s need/problems & necessary suggestions for solving the problems
• Update all registers, bill vouchers and records related to milk procurement
• Ensure quality milk collection and fair price payment implementation of the milk producers
• Ensure all financial activities and to ensure smooth operation of chilling center activities
• Reporting on all project activities by contacting respective stakeholders through smooth communication, information or report collection and compilation
• Make necessary contact with regional manager & maintenance manager for solving any problems/suggestion
• Maintain stock of spare parts, chemicals, dairy equipment and made timely fund requisition for milk bill payment
• Monitor and Evaluate the collection and financial activities within the concerned areas
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team
• Members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
• Any other work assigned by Management
• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Educational Requirements

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Veterinary Science/Dairy Science/Social Science/Business Development or a relevant Discipline with a minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any reputed institutions.

Experience Requirements

• At least 3 year(s)
