Total project planning (Work Schedule, Manpower, Equipment requirement etc.) before start of a new project
Coordination with concern person/ department for decision collection (as follows) and time to time passing instruction to the respective SIC for execution:
o All kinds of drawings related problems
o Client’s/Stakeholder decision
o Others
Regular site visits as much as possible, monitoring the work progress and control the work schedule properly
Requisition for contractor’s selection to the head of operation for work order
Proper checking & control of requisition
Checking & authorize of petty cash bill & conveyance bill for approval
All kinds of labour contractor bills checking & authorize for approval
Quality control (check of strength of concrete, cement, re-bars, workmanship of finishing works like plaster, tiles, wood works, paints etc.)
Arrange/ call regular meeting in the project site office with respective SIC. Site engineers and relevant contractors every 10 days interval in construction team and report to PD
Instruction to subordinates/site engineers for keeping proper record of optional works like dismantling/ breaking, additional works etc. and supply it to HO for calculation of costing as and when required
Preparation of monthly progress report
Take necessary action for rectifications/ modifications of works as claimed by the clients and agreed/ approved by SHL before/during project handover procedure time
Leave /attendance control and recommendation for site engineers/staff
Time to time reconciliation at site regarding materials consumption, site cleaning and site safety issues
BOQ/Budget Preparation:
Prepare/Review Structural Design and provide feedback to Consultants.
Prepare/Review Bill of Quantity (Structural/Finishing/Sanitary/EME etc.) and obtain appropriate approval.
Continuous Improvement / Research:
Seeking new/ updated methodology of processing of current work.
Project Management Monitoring and Project Progress:
Obtain understanding of project management which includes planning, budgeting and scheduling.
Preparing Work Schedule using MS Project software,
Preparing monthly schedules and monitoring of the schedules and preparing progress report.
Arrange Coordination meeting with relevant stakeholders and authorities
Support Finance Team in processing of bills.
Receive requirements from the site for any changes during construction.
Ensure Compliance of design with Company Standard.
Administrative and Coordination Job:
Update Priority Task List.
Formulate strategy and execute planned resource management activities for the tasks.
Develop competence within the team mates for utmost utilization of human resources within the team.
Maintain quality records and data relating to projects.
