Job Context

• CoEHSUHC is looking for a Research Fellow to lead a census on community health workers in selected districts/upazilla`s in the county. Details of the position are stated below:

• Contract Period: Four months (expected to start from November 2022, with possibility of extension)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and supervise a census on community health workers in selected districts/upazillas as Co-Expert.
• Will lead producing a GIS map to show the locations of CHWs mapped in each sub-districts (upazilas) and unions.
• Designing and implementing tab-based data collection and management systems for a census.
• Develop data collection applications using Open Data Kit (ODK) such as Survey CTO and Kobo Tool Box.
• Conducting data collection training and workshop for field enumerators.
• Developing and maintaining database as per required statistical formats.
• Troubleshooting of survey application and device (tablet and mobile performance).
• Will be responsible for smoothly operating/ running the agreed methodology (especially the census) at the field level and will collaborate with other team members.
• Applying statistical tools and techniques such as Stata and R for data analysis for data management and analysis.
• Presenting census findings to donor/partners and relevant stakeholders.

Educational Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics with three years of experience in data management and analysis.

Additional Requirements

• Training/ experience in geographical information systems (GIS).
• Ability to manage, process, analyze and interpret cross-sectional and longitudinal data.
• Ability to write report.
• Good writing and communication skills both in Bengali and English.
• Attention to detail and excellent recordkeeping skills.
