Job Description

  • Responsible for the complete procurement function to ensure timely & cost-effective acquisition of raw materials from suppliers ensuring the best quality as per applicable standards;
  • Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of manufacturing raw materials;
  • Responsible for developing an effective supplier base/best vendor, maintaining efficient business relationships, and conducting periodic assessments/reviews of supplier performance;
  • Ensuring delivery of all raw materials of business according to MPR plan;
  • Ensure urgent and additional requirements delivery as per production requirements;
  • Market analysis and collecting of various sources of supply of various types of procuring materials;
  • Ensure appropriate quotations from potential vendors, review, negotiation, and prepare comparative statements to make the purchase cost-effective;
  • Maintain liaison with all concerned internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ensure LC opening, follow-up, and on-time delivery;
  • Perform any other jobs as and when assigned by the management.
