Job Context

Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Bashundhara Group, is looking for some competent candidates for the Position of “Senior Technician / Technician – Electrical Maintenance, BOGCL” for its Bitumen Plant in Keraniganj, Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities

• Skilled in operation and maintenance of 33kV Switchgear & 11kV switchgear, LT panel, PFI panel, 33/11kV Oil filled Transformer, 11/0.4kV Dry type Transformer etc.
• Skilled in Motor control wiring (DOL starter, S-D starter, Soft starter, VVFD)
• Schedule & break down maintenance on AC & DC Induction Motor.
• Schedule & break down maintenance of Power Distribution board equipment ACB, MCCB, MCB etc.
• Sound knowledge in Electrical testing apparatus such as Earth resistance tester, Insulation Tester, Multimeter, clamp meter etc.
• Trouble shooting of Soft starter, VVFD etc.
• Operation and maintenance of Diesel Generator.
• Ensure safety during any electrical job.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum SSC/HSC, Diploma Engineers or Graduates from any discipline will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 10 to 12 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 20 to 45 years
• Should have knowledge of operation and control, ability to make timely decisions associated with process upsets, excellent troubleshooting.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Chemical Plant. For more experienced personnel, educational qualification could be relaxed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
