Thorough Credit Risk analysis and Management and Customer Relationship building/promoting in line with banking laws and practices and Bank`s objectives and Goals
Job Responsibilities
Assist to the Divisional Head to achieve the Divisional Target to control NPL as well as the target set by Management.
Arrangement of regular Visit of NPL/Stress Borrowers and their Mortgaged properties (if any), Outlets and Business address as required and subsequently submission of reports toward Management.
Maintaining liaison with Branches and Legal Division in connection with monitoring and recovery strategies of the Borrower to control the NPL of the Bank as assigned.
Preparation of Rescheduling / Amicable Settlement proposal for Management / EC / Board approval as required on time.
Arrangement of legal action (NI Act / Artha Rin Adalat Ain etc.) against the NPL/Stress borrowers as required.
Maintain good relationship with Business / Legal and Back-office staffs to reach the Divisional Target & Goal.
Report to Management/Board time to time regarding NPL status and probable settlement procedures.
Recovery of Written-off accounts.
Take part in negotiation for settlement of NPL liability through amicably along with Branch Manager, RM and SAM Team.
Preparation of security release Memo for Management approval.
Assist in preparation of Statements of Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Yearly for Board and Bangladesh Bank.
Conduct negotiations with borrowers and borrower’s counsel and make necessary judgments to protect the bank’s interest and achieve maximum recovery.

Experience Requirements
At least 8 year(s)
Additional Requirements
At least 8 years of working experience in Recovery in Banking Sector.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
The incumbent should be able to lead a Recovery Team to achieve the set Target.
Has to possess the excellent skill in Negotiation.
Sound Knowledge in Classification/ Rescheduling/ Written-Off/Amicable Settlement related to Bangladesh Bank Circulars, related Laws, and be able to advise the Team Members accordingly.
Sound Knowledge in NI Act / Artha Rin Adalat Ain etc. and trained the team members accordingly.
