Job Context

    We are Looking for A dynamic, hardworking and honest person with proven leadership history and sound understanding of cross functional administrative and operational aspects of a continuous process industry, who is willing and able to assume the leadership role in a challenging and fast paced manufacturing unit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Formulate standard procedure of administration manuals for the factories and update on an on-going basis.
  • Ensure implementation of the administration activities as per law, customers requirements and company standards as well.
  • Follow up daily organized house-keeping of production floors and total premises of the factory through all admin officers, cleaning supervisors, cleaners, janitors and gardeners.
  • Set effective strategy and guideline to reduce administration cost such as stationary cost, over time cost for administrative personnel, security cost, canteen cost, transport cost , cleaning materials cost, official entertainment cost etc.
  • Lead and coordinate to monitor compliance issues all over the factory on legal permit, child labor, forced labor, harassment, working hours, wages & benefits, maternity, health & safety, environment (ETP), security etc. and taking corrective actions as required.
  • Communication and coordination with buyers, audit firms, legal bodies, Government Office, BGMEA and local political bodies related to administrative matters and CAP Preparation for all compliance related audits and ensure the issues to implement as concern.
  • Maintain necessary paper documents of office works in the office for record keeping, correspondences and updating related files and arranges timely submission of Govt. returns and payment of all bills and Govt. dues like telephone, electricity, water, gas, postal etc. and maintain proper records thereof.
  • Carry out regular internal and external audit in all the production locations and put up recommendations, follow-up for implementation and provide reports thereof to the department heads and unit heads.
  • Provide various training like COC, PPE, Fire Safety, First Aid and Health Safety, Building maintenance to all concerns and train the workforces.
  • Strive to achieve continuous improvement and adhere to the best administrative practices of the world class apparels industries as regards to the compliance.
  • Maintain environmental sustainability by required activities and work procedures and development of proper systems for maintaining and monitoring of appropriate disciplinary action.
  • Coordinate when Buyer Representatives or Auditors visit the factory.
  • Monitor administrative, Transport and overall logistics issue as per company policy.
  • Monitor day to day operation of the total security forces to ensure foolproof security of all human and resources to ensure the factory premises safe and secured also ensure proper arrangement of all component of C-TPAT and other safety audits to pass C-TPAT audit and other safety audits in highest grade.
  • Monitor employees are maintaining health and safety policy and rules according to WHO for preventing COVID-19.
  • Ensure thermal scan, chemical tray, chemical spray are being properly functional and soaps are available at hand washing area.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the management time to time.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor/ Honors or Masters degree in any discipline with very good academic track record.

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 7 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Administration, Housekeeping, Security, Transport Management
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Garments Accessories

Additional Requirements

  • Age 28 to 40 years
  • Excellent computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Perfect proficiency to read, write and speak English and Bangla
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skill and quick decision making ability
  • Should able to work under pressure
  • Must have experience in the manufacturing company, preferably in textile and apparel industry
