Lead the development and execution of N Brown`s ethical, human rights and modern slavery strategy within the global supply chain in collaboration with Responsible Sourcing.
Developing and improving company policies & strategies in terms of up-to-date global human rights standard for the supply chain monitoring and the implication of them.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with internal Sourcing / Operations teams and industry partners to develop and implement company ethical and human rights supply chain strategy.
Assess and evaluate human rights standard and risk level through the global supply chain and reporting this for senior management.
Design, develop and implement program and initiatives to achieve any objective set by company strategy or global human rights goal.
Liaise and stay aligned with industry peers, stakeholders to keep the company objective up-to-date.
Supporting head of CSR, the in country and global business colleagues in terms of onboarding any potential new business
Writing and analyzing report on ensuring ethical & human rights due diligence for the global supply chain.
Capable to perform ethical audits and assessments
Finding and demonstrating facts that should support the company to manage any particular situation or strategy
Enough capability and knowledge to work with International Accord and support supplier partners to improve their remediation level.
Develop, deliver and implement ethical and human rights training programs and initiatives which assist factories and suppliers to continually improve standards and working conditions.
To be aware of arising social and ethical trends and global issues which may affect supply chain.
Develop relationships with external stakeholders, e.g. ETI, ILO, Brand collaboration.
Manage industry collaboration efforts with strategic partners such as the British Retail Consortium (BRC), Higg, Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), UK Fast Forward and other leading associations.
Accountable for identifying critical/high risk ethical issues in the supply base and escalating these to the CSR Head and be responsible for informing the business.
Able to promote N Brown Groups ethical brand reputation and visibility to any wider platform.
Work closely with UK office colleagues and third-party partners to coordinate audits from time to time.
Follow up on internal or external Corrective Action Reports issued by independent 3rd party audit companies and 2nd party companies to ensure all improvements have been thoroughly implemented where required.
To have regular weekly/monthly update teleconferences with UK CSR head.
Able to travel locally and internationally in short notice.
