Job Context

• Job is full time and selected candidate will be based in our Dhaka Office. He must be prepared to visit the factories. Candidate must have the capability to work independently and making reports to the management
• Job Locatio : Gulshan 1

Job Responsibilities

• Very fluent with the Bangladesh Customs Rules & Regulations
• Knowledge and understanding of HS Codes & Customs Nomenclatures
• Work with appointed C&F agents so that imports are cleared without any demurrage to shipping line or port authorities
• Understanding of import procedures, bond license, dealing with bank transactions & LC
• Booking of air & sea cargo
• Identify the potential source of manufacture.
• Visit local markets to source the required materials
• Communicate with designers to understand the types, quality and designs of product.
• Work with the operations team for developing, planning and importing products
• Process the procurement immediately after receiving the requisitions
• Manage LC (letters of credit) and commercial processes for importing the raw materials
• Keep track and communicate with manufacturers/traders and C&F and freight forwarders for quick import and clearance from port
• Generate periodic reports on procurement from the international market

• Bachelor degree in any discipline
• BBA/MBA
• PGD in Supply Chain will get Additional advantage

• 5 to 6 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 35 to 40 years

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies, Medicine company, Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) Companies, Freight forwarding, Shipping
