Job Description

    Leading a team of SRMs/RMs/ARMs and maintaining strong & close relationships with large corporate clients to maintain & expand existing business and originate new business resulting in increased revenue, within the framework and guidelines of the Bank and Regulators.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leading the team to attain the objectives of the Unit in totality by developing new business, maintain portfolio quality, and regular reviews to ensure achievement of growth and business targets
  • Setting goals, objectives and measurement standards for each Relationship Manager/ Credit Analyst of the Unit and evaluating their performance on a periodical basis.
  • Manage, administer and monitor utilization of credit facilities in corporate accounts and maintain the quality of risk assets.
  • Conducting timely/ periodic review of credit files using various data, e.g. Financial Statements, ICRRS, Credit Rating, A/C Turnover, projections, account statistics, etc, preparation/ renewal of credit lines and presentation to appropriate authorities for approval and subsequently advise the customer and other operational units.
  • Ensure timely documentation/ updates of securities, security valuations, renewal of insurance policies.
  • Regularizing and following up on past dues, temporary accommodations/ excesses over limits.
  • Supervision of all procedural work and submission of returns and other data related to the allocated portfolio.
  • Regular visits to clients to monitor the business, liaison with owners/directors and ensure optimum channeling of business through the Bank.
  • Cross sell Non Funded businesses, Treasury products and other fee based products.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions and prepare credit applications for new loan facilities for Corporate Banking clients
  • Present and defend Corporate Banking credit applications in the Credit Committee
  • Provide regular credit reviews of Corporate Banking clients
  • Review credit proposal from RMs prior to submission to CRM
  • Ensure timely management reporting
  • Ensure Risk Management & Operational Control of the Unit
  • Mobilize new business (assets and liabilities) and cross sell Bank’s products.
  • Monitors Non Performing Assets of the Bank and decides on appropriate strategies and plans for re-structuring/recovery
  • Proposing and managing remedial solutions for – SMA- and classified accounts under the portfolio, with a view to monitor and regularize the accounts to prevent further provisions and progressive upgrades.
  • Developing and grooming team members for additional responsibilities.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline.
