Job Responsibilities

  • Providing dynamic and effective leadership and day-to-day management of Human Resources Division
  • Leadership in the development and implementation of the Bank’s HR Strategy as a key enabler of the Bank’s strategic plan;
  • Understanding business plan and execute proper manpower planning;
  • Planning Placements and Transfers;
  • Maintain liaison with all Business Units, Branches and Back Office;
  • Leading the role for development and integration of HR policies and procedures;
  • Managing human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
  • Developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and professional Human Resource service through leadership, in the implementation of strategic initiatives and management of operational HR activities.
  • Keeping track of all recruitment metrics i.e. Cost Per Hire, Time To Hire etc.
  • Any other job as assigned by the Management from time to time

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 48 years
  • Post-Graduation from any reputed university with no Third Division/Class in academic records;
  • Post-Graduate Diploma in HRM would be ;
  • Minimum 14 years of experience in any scheduled commercial Bank/ NBFI with 5 years working experience in Human Resources Division;
  • Excellent knowledge in industry HR Practices, Bangladesh Labor Law & HR Policy developments
  • Excellent knowledge in Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations and KPI Based Performance Management System, Learning & Development, disciplinary procedures & other HR aspects.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Must have problem-solving, Leadership, Analytical and decision-making skills
